Ministry Teams: Access

MISSION

To compliment the mission of Trinity Presbyterian Church by embodying kingdom citizenship. To serve TPC by encouraging people with varying degrees of disabilities to fully participate in the body life of church. Through Access we desire to see the body of Christ made more perfect through authentically integrating people with disabilities and their families into the life of TPC.

  • Church wide education and awareness of mental illness, cognitive impairments, and physical disabilities.
  • Facilitate integration of people with disabilities into the life of TPC. Goal being total inclusion and total church ministry - understanding that all are broken, spiritually disabled, and in need of grace.
  • Care for people and families that are currently affected by disabilities.
  • Outreach to the community - TPC will have a reputation of a welcoming and inclusive church and serve as a model in the community.

If you have a child that could benefit from some extra services or if you want more information to get involved with the Access ministry, contact Rebecca Howell.

"But in fact God has arranged the parts in the body, every one of them just as he wanted them to be. ...those parts of the body that seem to be weaker and indispensable and the parts that we think are less honorable we treat with special honor."

1 Corinthians 12:18, 22
