Volunteers Needed! Here is a list of the jobs that need to be filled to run The Camp, Jr.

Camp, Jr Vision:

Provide a quality camp for preschool children, be a blessing to the community, share the hope found only in Jesus.

Needs:
At Camp Jr., kids move through Bible learning as they visit various stations each day. Each station is staffed by an adult teacher and features a different Bible-learning activity. Station leaders will see every small group rotate though each day. Here are the station leaders needed:

Skit Leaders* - Will help illustrate the daily Bible point in a brief skit (script provided). (2 energetic people needed)

Bible Teachers - Will teach the Bible Point to kids in one session of Bible Adventures everyday using provided curriculum. Filled!!

Music Leader* - Will lead children in songs in a large group at the beginning and end of Camp Jr. Musical instrument optional. Filled!!

Games/Recreation Station Leader - Will be responsible for leading one structured game and supervise playground time for all age groups on rotation. Filled!!

Imagination Station leader - Will be responsible for leading daily craft activity that reinforces the daily Bible point. Filled!!

*Music Leader & Morning Program Leaders can both also be Crew Leaders since the Program runs only in the large group time.

Crew Leaders/Assistant Crew Leader for ages 3, 4, and 5 - Will help crews of 5-10 kids rotate to stations, follow directions given by leaders, and become a big friend to little kids. You will stay with the same group of children all week and don't need to prepare ANYTHING in advance! Filled!!

Nursery - (for ages 0-2) Loving arms to care for the babies of our Camp and Camp Jr. volunteers! (2 people needed)

After care (12:00pm-3:00pm)- Help take care of babies and children of Camp and Camp Jr. volunteers. (1 person needed)

Before care (7:45am-9:00am) - Help take care of babies and children of Camp and Camp Jr. volunteers. Filled!!

Floater- "Hey, I'd like to just be there in case you need an extra pair of hands one day."

Decoration Assistance - We need help transforming our children's area into Camp Jr.! We need creative help for the transformation and practical help during the weekend before Camp Jr. begins.

All volunteers with our children's ministry are required to complete a background check for the safety of our children. If you are planning to serve with The Camp, Jr. and have not already done so, please fill out the background check authorization here.
