Ministry Teams: Facilities
The Facilities Ministry Team exists to maintain our building and be sure that it is safe and functional for each week's worship servies.
Opportunites to Serve on the Facilities Team:
-Fun Day Coordinator
Fun will be had by all. Coordinate semi-annual fun day where members of the church come and spruce up the church. Time commitment is 6-10 hours of planning over a couple months and 5 hours for the fun day. Good for servants who can coordinate multiple things.
-Lighting/Electrical
Helping to shed light on the truth. Makes sure all the lights are lit. Occasionaly coordinates electrical work. Time commitment is 1-2 hours per month. This one can be done by yourself or with a friend. No skills needed, just a desire to shed light on/in the church.
-Security System/Doors
Keeping the doors of the church open. Deals with all things security system and door related. Be a point of contact if the security system alarms or if a door has a problem.
-Landscaper (flower bed coordinator)
The power of flowers. Plant flowers and other pretty things once a year (or so) to spruce things up. The grounds contractor takes care of the rest. A green thumb is encouraged.
-Project Team Coordinator
Not for the faint at heart. About once a year lead a team of folks to accomplish a 4-8 hour project. Being handy and being able to lead a few folks to ger 'r done.
-Handy Man
Jack of all trades and maybe even master of some. Take care of little things that come up that a handy person could fix so we don't have to hire someone else to do. A couple examples are replacing a toilet, minor spackling, install some chair rail, etc. Maybe once a quarter, but probably less. Someone who is handy, but may like to serve alone. Bringing a friend though could make it more fun.
