Worship

There is no higher or glorious calling than for God’s worship in our lives—in our work, play, the way we love, sing, pray, and relate to those around us. When we worship, we are witnesses to the transformation of not only our own souls, but the strengthening of union between Christ and His Church. Worship changes our hearts, impacting the way we live, which changes our families, community groups, neighborhoods, business relationships, the city of Norfolk, and the world.

Historic and Indigenous

At Trinity, we have a bold, joyful, historic and participatory style of worship, which is a careful blend of dignity and freedom. Our worship strives to be high and majestic, yet warm and personal. Our worship reflects the ancient roots of our faith as well as the sounds and language of our city.

Welcoming and Challenging

Our worship is meant to both build up and challenge the believer and also welcome and challenge the unbelieving. Our worship is a "safe place" for people who are investigating the Christian faith or who doubt Christianity altogether. We are a community where you can belong before you believe.

Worship/Arts

There are many ways to serve the worship ministry at Trinity: through a Worship Team ensemble, audio support, choral ensembles, and liturgical arts. Please contact Ben Lyon (ben@trinitynorfolk.com) for more information.
